Amy Herzberg is a musical theater performer, choreographer, and vocal teacher based in New York City. Since arriving in the city in 2022, Amy has accumulated over 40 professional credits, including Off-Broadway, regional theater productions, films, commercials, and more.

Amy started performing at a very young age, and after countless shows in her parents' living room, she decided it was time to find a bigger stage. She began her classical ballet training in the "Ornat" studio and trained for 14 years.

More recently, Amy graduated from the musical theater school "Lipper Academy," where she met Eidan Lipper, the school's director and a theater director. She participated in many shows directed by Lipper, including "The Noteworthy Life Of Howard Barnes" (Experimental, Dance Captain), "Carrie" (Ensemble), and "Stephen Schwartz Tribute concert" (Glinda).

As a choreographer, Amy has worked on original choreography for Andrew Lippa's "The Wild Party," "Choices - A Rock Opera", "Issue #9" (off-Broaddway) and an original fringe musical named "When You Dance".

As a vocal teacher, Amy's mission is to equip her students with a diverse "toolbox" of musical techniques to cultivate their own distinctive sound. With a focus on both the basics and the nuances of performance, she strives to support each student in discovering their unique voice and guiding them through their journey.

Currently, Amy keeps working as well as attending classes at "Actor Therapy" and at the "Steps on Broadway" studio. She is also a proud mom to a very cute cat named Hannah.
